Opening Hours of Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park
The Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park is open from 8 a.m. to sundown, 365 days a year, and admission is free. Campers who plan to arrive after sunset on the day of their arrival should call the park ahead of time at 386-454-1369 to obtain the gate combination and other instructions. All campers must be set up and ready to go by 11 p.m.
Admission at Gilchrist Blue Springs
The admission fee of Gilchrist Blue Springs are given bellow:
- A fee of $6 per vehicle (two to eight people).
- The cost of a single-occupant vehicle is $4.
- People on foot, bicyclists, additional passengers, and passengers in a vehicle with an Annual Individual Entrance Pass will be charged $2.
RV, cabin, bungalow, boat, and yurt units are $18 per night plus tax, plus a nonrefundable $6.70 reservation fee and a $7 nightly utility fee for a total of $18 per night plus tax. Water, electricity, and sewer are all included in the utility fee. (There is no fee for tent camping, and there is no utility fee.)
The state of Florida allows residents 65 years of age and older, as well as those who have a Social Security disability award certificate or a federal 100 percent disability award certificate, to receive a 50 percent discount on the state’s current base campsite fees. It is not included in the price the reservation fee and utility fees. At the time of check-in, you must present your documentation.
