Introduction of Little Beaver State Park
A 562-acre day-use park, Little Beaver State Park offers a variety of outdoor recreational possibilities. An 18-acre lake that is accessible for fishing year-round is in the middle of the park. Numerous game fish species, including bass, crappie, channel cat, bluegill, and trout, may be found in the lake. Seasonal rentals for rowboats and paddles are offered. The park also features geocaching, playgrounds, five picnic shelters that may be reserved in advance, and an activity centre with a game room. Both bicycling and hiking are permitted on all paths, however bikers should use caution when riding in densely populated areas.

There are 46 total campsites in the campground in the park. The sites are divided into those that may be reserved and those that are first-come, first-served. There is electricity and water at thirty sites. The remaining 16 locations only have water. Every site has access and gravel-based pads that can support up to a 40-foot RV. A central dump station, check-in structure, and camp store are available at the campground. Internet access is wifi in the camp shop. There is also a sizable bathhouse with laundry facilities available.

Little Beaver State Park History
Little Beaver State Park was developed in 1972 as a day-use park, although the area had long been a popular destination for 4-H campers and fishermen thanks to the construction of an 18-acre lake by Little Beaver Creek’s damming. In order to increase chances for this well-liked family reunion and vacation destination, the park was refurbished in 2011 with the addition of 46 camping spots.
