Introduction of Fair Haven Beach State Park

On the eastern side of Lake Ontario, in upstate New York, is Fair Haven Beach State Park. One of the best public lakefronts in upstate New York, it features sand beaches, high coastline cliffs, and adjacent hilly forests. The park’s lovely 1500-foot-long sand beach has 600 feet of guarded swimming space. Sterling Pond and Creek are situated in the middle of the geological transition from land to water in the interior.

The pleasantly undulating forests are dotted with campgrounds and cottage sites. Opportunities for boating and fishing abound at Little Sodus Bay and Lake Ontario. Additionally, there are diving boards, bicycles, hiking, picnics, and camping available for visitors. Popular winter activities include ice fishing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. Two sandy beaches and a diving channel with two boards are available in the park. Row boats, paddle boats, canoes, and kayaks are among the vessels that may be rented; they can only be used on the Sterling Pond canal in the interior.

Each of the three distinct campsites and the colony of 30 cabins has a central bathroom with showers. The self-contained accommodations are divided into two further cabins and three cottages. There are 138 non-electric sites and 46 electric sites in campgrounds. Customers may also enjoy a ball field, hiking path, camp shop, concession, 5 picnic spaces, 2 family picnic tent rentals, and 2 shelters (one heated). An 18-hole golf course and stunning scenery combine to create a special and welcoming place.
