Six two-bedroom cabins are located in a shady oak hammock near Blue Spring, a designated manatee refuge.

Six two-bedroom cottages are nestled near Blue Spring, a protected manatee refuge, in a shaded oak hammock.

  • Swimming is forbidden after hours in the spring.


Cabins have a maximum capacity of six persons. The first bedroom features a double bed, while the second bedroom features two single beds. In the living room, a sleeper sofa converts to a double bed. Each cabin has a gas fireplace (available from November to March), central heating and cooling, a bathroom, a fully furnished kitchen with stove and refrigerator, a screened porch, an outside grill, and a picnic table.

Linens, pillows, blankets, and towels are given, as well as cooking and eating equipment. The linens are not changed on a daily basis. There is a limit of two automobiles per cabin. Televisions and phones are not offered for the visitors’ comfort.

  • Reservations are accepted up to 11 months ahead of time. Visit the Florida State Parks reservations page or call 800-326-3521 or TDD 888-433-0287 to make a reservation. Pets are not allowed in the cabins. Service animals are allowed on the premises

 

  • On weekends and holidays, a two-night minimum stay is required in cabins, either Friday and Saturday night or Saturday and Sunday night. Only if the following Saturday or Sunday night is not already booked can a single Friday or Saturday night be reserved.

  • Cabin 2 is open to the public.
