Travelers Rest / N Greenville KOA

North Lake Trail Loop

Camp Buckhorn

Camp Buckhorn is available for rental by families and larger parties (up to 40 persons) seeking a quiet and isolated escape. The camp has its own gate and is located four miles into the park along a winding road. The “lodge” is made of river stones and features a conference room, a full kitchen, and bathrooms with showers for both sexes. Additionally, it is furnished with a few big circular tables, seats, an interior fireplace, and an outside gas grill.

Additionally, ten rustic cottages are offered for lodging. One of the cabins contains a queen-sized bed, a sofa, a mini-fridge, and a complete bathroom. It is also ADA-accessible. The other cabins have two bunk beds and a smaller heater, and they are more basic. Visitors may use the power, outlets, and lights in the cabins while they are there.

Between the cottages is a bathhouse that has two showers and toilets for guests’ use. Children can also enjoy playing in the neighbouring pond and grassy area.

Paris Mountain State Park Activities

Boating

In the park lake, private boats are not permitted. From Memorial Day until the end of August, and then on select weekends throughout the fall, canoes, kayaks, and pedal boats can be rented from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Rentals of boats are possible provided lifeguards are available. Before committing to a plan, check with the park.

Fishing

Picnicking
