Cherry Plain State Park Campgrounds

Only smaller RVs and cars are advised inside the park’s boundaries as there are no on-site power, water, or sewage hookups. Near camping areas, there are restrooms, showers, and drinking water amenities. Most picnic spots and campgrounds provide picnic tables, grills, and fire pits. Pets are permitted on the trails and campgrounds as long as they are leashed. Campers can remain for up to 14 days at a period in the park, which is open from 10 am to 6 pm.

The Cherry Plain State Park is situated 7 miles north of Stephentown and 19 miles southeast of Grafton. There are signs to direct guests to the park entrance, which is close to NYS Route 22. Larger RVs and motorhomes are not advised to enter the park since finding parking spaces may be quite difficult.
